Arklow is located half way between Dublin and Rosslare (45 Miles/72km ) on the N11 dual carriageway, which lies on the designated Euro Route 1 between these two centres. It is one of the busiest seaside resorts on the East Coast. As well as being easily accessible by car, Arklow is extremely well served by public transport.

South Beach and Wind Farm
A short walk from the Town Centre to the harbour area and then further along the road via Qualceram is the south beach and the jetty. Picnic tables are provided. Embrace the sea air and watch the harbour activities as you stroll and pass by the RNLI lifeboat station, which is in operation since 1826 making it the oldest lifeboat station in Ireland.

Arklow Farmers Market and Arklow Country Market
The Farmers Market takes place each Friday from 10am -1pm in Abbey Lane just off Main Street. This market offers artisan, craft and organic produce varying from breads, cheese, vegetables, meats to fine photography and paintings.
The Country Market takes place in the Pigeon House at Castlepark each Saturday, 10.30am – 12.00pm
Arklow Sea Tours

Sailing
Within Arklow Marina, shower and toilet facilities are available on the east of the marina basin. Fresh water and electrical connections are available in the marina and on the pontoons. Diesel fuel is available from the dock on the South side of the river, whilst Bottled gas is available locally in the town.
